Welcome Back!

Welcome back to students from all over the globe and good luck to those who have recently left! January and February are busy months for exchange programmes with lots of students completing exchanges and many others beginning theirs.

Sam Eames, Grace Leadbetter and Emily Blincoe are now comfortably settled near Madrid.

All of our six-week students to France say they had a wonderful time and their photos confirm it.

Harry Johnston has returned from Argentina after a year in Mendoza. Jessie-Leigh Ellis finished her exchange near Buenos Aires and travelled with relatives in Chile and Peru. Her Spanish is now very fluent and her family says it was wonderful to have her as a translator. Crystal Mitcalfe arrived back shortly after Xmas having spent a semester in a private school between Buenos Aires and Rosario.

Symone Wishnowsky is fluent in Portuguese after a year in Goiania but she says she’s starting to lose it now that she doesn’t speak it every day.

All of last year’s students who went to Japan are now back and the four who left in January on a three month exchange are all doing well. This is the second year we have run this very convenient and increasingly popular exchange and we’re expecting even larger numbers next year. A new group will be leaving for one and two semester exchanges starting in March and we’re getting ready for their orientation sessions. Exchanges to Japan are very rewarding but it’s important to apply early. Now is a good time to start your application if you want to leave at the end of August.
